Head & Shoulders is a Color Safe Dandruff Shampoo

Head & Shoulders is a Color Safe Dandruff Shampoo

Say you do dye your hair. Will Head & Shoulders
strip any of that color? We’ve heard this a lot from
stylists and from consumers. And no– we studied it extensively, and
found that Head & Shoulders does not strip color out of hair, any more
than a normal cosmetic shampoo might.

  1. I'd personally say this isn't correct.  I colored my hair a week ago a shade of burgundy and this morning I used my husbands H & S and there was a lot of pink coming out.  I typically use Tresemme and did not have problems with that brand.

  2. Not true. I dye my hair red (for years now), but I have dandruff. I've used head and shoulders since I discovered I had dandruff, and I always focused on my scalp when using this shampoo. Without fail, my roots always eventually turned orange from using this product.

  3. not true iv used it a few times to lighten my hair…i usually use redken all soft and my hair stays true to tone and level for months. with head and shoulders it is about a level lighter and has a lot more brass

  4. This product actually has helped me strip of hair dye. At a slow rate (many washes), but certainly it's not like a regular shampoo, this stuff is heavy duty.

  5. This is a weird lie to try and tell… Head and Shoulders is literally what I use when I'm trying to strip a colour to change it.
