Top 3 Causes of Thinning Hair and What to Do About It


Hey listen, I get it thinning hair and
hair loss are big deals they can affect not only how you look in the mirror
every day but they can affect how you feel they
can rob you of your confidence and change your relationships. Now, if you’re

to its completion I have a personal experience with hair loss in my past
during a stressful time in my life I experienced thinning hair and I had to
do something about it because it was affecting my life in profound ways. So I
want you to watch this video because I’m gonna give you three top contributing
tips to help reverse hair loss and to help thicken and make your hair more
full. So hair loss or thinning hair is
considered medically termed alopecia it occurs in both males and females
although the rate is higher in males now again this is personally important to me
because it affected how I looked, it affected how I felt, it affected some of
the relationships that I have and what I really like about these 3 power tips to
help with thinning hair and hair loss and alopecia is that it goes right in
line with what I believe, which is if you’re going to do something about your
health it should not only improve one thing it should improve your body
systemically and that’s what I really like about these three key points. First
hormone imbalance is specifically an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase which
changes testosterone into a much more powerful form of testosterone,
dihydrotestosterone, now the problem with elevated levels of dihydrotestosterone
and this enzyme that starts kicking out way too much
DHT, it’s also called, as DHT causes hair follicle atrophy, it causes hair thinning
and it contributes to hair loss. That’s number one, number two, nutrient
deficiencies. So the most common nutrient deficiencies that contribute
to hair loss are iron, essential fatty acids, biotin, folic acid, vitamins b6 and
12, vitamin A and zinc. Making sure that your diet is rich in these vitamins and
minerals or taking a high-quality supplement which includes more of iron,
essential fatty acids, biotin, folic acid, b6, b12, vitamin A, and zinc. That’s number two. Number three is inflammation specifically something
called reactive oxygenated species, now these oxidative compounds which can
occur naturally in the body attack hair follicles contribute to hair thinning
contribute to hair loss. Now the average person has somewhere between 100,000 to 350,000 hair follicles and it’s important through this three-step
approach, making sure that your hormones are balanced and you’re not over
producing dihydrotestosterone by an over activated 5 alpha reductase and there
are supplements that you can take to improve that. Correcting any of those
nutrient deficiencies that you may have and controlling inflammation this is
eating a diet that’s rich in color rich in fruits and vegetables, essentially
essential fatty acids, hair follicles have two phases one is antigen that’s
the growth phase the other phase is telogen that’s where the hair follicle
basically withers and atrophies and hair falls out, and using this three tip
approach getting alpha reductase under control correcting nutrient deficiencies
and controlling inflammation can have incredible effects in your hair. How you
look, how you feel and your confidence. I believe in the original meaning of the
word doctor which is docere, and I’m here to continue your journey to improve
