Tutorial DIY: How To Tint Your Lace Wigs using Tea Bag Method

Hello guys Today I will show you how to tint your lace
using black tea. You will need 10 tea bags and a pot of hot water This is how the lace looks without tint.
It does not match my skin colour. To prepare the wig turn inside out and tie
hair using hair band Once the water in the pot is boiled
add your ten tea bags holding on to the ends of the bags
so you don’t burn your fingers. When you choose your tea make sure it’s 100%
black tea with no blended ingredients.
I am using English breakfast tea for this video. Whilst the water is boiling use a wooden spoon
or any utensils you have to gently press the teabag to get all the tea out.
Be carful not press too hard because your tea bag will bust and that’s not good. Keep dipping the tea bags in the boiling water
for about 5 minutes After this time remove the tea bags from the
pot and allow the tea to cook for another 3 minutes Turn off the heat and
let the tea sit for 2 minutes to get the right temperature for your Lace
Wig Dip the lace from your wig into the tea holding
the ends. Use your spoon or utensils to push the lace
down. I set my timer for 10 minsutes
but this is just a guideline for you might need to take your wig out sooner. The longer your wig sits in the
tea the darker your lace becomes. Because everyone’s complexions is different.
Check the lace against your skin to get the right colour. I took mine out after 5 minutes. Wash your Lace Wig with shampoo and conditioner. This is how your lace should look on your
skin. Thank you for watching follow us Instagram
